Thursday’s Prayer Service Location Changed

November 2, 2004

Contributed by CEO Message

As a result, Kamehameha's Prayer Service planned for 7:00 a.m. that morning at the Stan Sheriff Center will now be held at Kawaiahaʻo Church at King and Punchbowl Streets.

Shuttles will still run beginning at 5:30 a.m. from free park and ride sites at Central Union Church, Neal Blaisdell Center and the Ala Moana Center Coral level near Macy's on the Diamond Head side. The buses will return to the pick-up points immediately following the prayer service.

Despite the last minute changes, the Kamehameha ʻohana still intends to set aside this special time to thank Ke Akua for the foresight and generosity of Bernice Pauahi Bishop. We hope that all who believe in Kamehameha's mission will join us on Thursday morning at Kawaiahaʻo, the church in which Pauahi herself worshipped.

Mahalo nui loa for your continued support and prayers,

Dee Jay Mailer
Chief Executive Officer
