Maggiolino has spent the last seven years at Chaminade University, where he held the positions of Sports Information Director, first assistant men's basketball coach and head coach of the men's golf program. Prior to his time at Chaminade, Maggiolino was the head men's basketball coach (Central Region) for the Empire State Games in New York State and served three years as the first assistant coach for the men's basketball program at SUNY Cortland.
"In Maurice, we are getting a first class individual who will become an invaluable asset to the KSK Athletic program," Adams said. "His knowledge of the inner workings of athletics, his experience in event management, web design and maintenance, and recruiting at the NCAA/NAIA levels will serve Kamehameha and our students well."
Maggiolino replaces long-time KS Kapālama Associate AD Blane Gaison, who left to take the Athletic Director position at KS Maui. He is scheduled to start his position at KSK on March 8.
