KS careers Web site now features video and social networking

"The staff in these videos share the KS Employee Experience," explained HR Client Services Team member Caroline Ekau, who worked with CR&C's Web Department and CEI's Program Support Division to create the videos.

These initial profiles help spotlight positions and operational areas that are not typically associated with a traditional school, and share the importance of KS' mission, as well as all the great benefits of working at Kamehameha. In phase 2, the project team will solicit video testimonials from employees in campus and community outreach programs. "We hope to build a library of video spots that can be rotated online as the need arises," said Andreas Arvman, Web Department manager.

The power of networking among KS employees, alumni and families was the impetus for developing a KS Careers group page in LinkedIn, a business-oriented social networking site with more than 50 million registered users. "About 50% of our successful hires are the result of KS employee referrals," proclaims Sheri Lee, HR Client Services Team leader.

If you are a current LinkedIn member, please go to http://bit.ly/KSCareers and join the group. All KS employees, alumni and parents are invited to join the group, and don't forget to invite your network to join, too!
