The public is invited. Tickets are $5 at the door. The Princess and the Iso Peanut is written by local playwright, Lisa Matsumoto, a UH graduate well known for her pidgin-style musicals. Music is by Roslyn Catracchia.
Drama Director Patrick Fujioka said, "The play is based on the classic 'The Princess and the Pea,' but in this version, the traditional fairy tale princess gets thrown into the local fairy tale world. Confusion ensues and laughter - lots of it - follows."
