Kamehameha Schools To Hold Gathering at ‘Iolani Palace

On O'ahu, the gathering will be at 'Iolani Palace on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The events include speeches from Native Hawaiian leaders, Kamehameha Schools trustees and halau performances. A march to Mauna 'Ala will follow the rally at 10:30 a.m..

Public parking will not be available at the Palace. Attendees are asked to park on the street or at municipal lots in the area (limited handicapped parking on South King Street; kupuna and handicapped drop-off at Richards and South King Street gates.)

Free shuttle transportation back to 'Iolani Palace will be provided after the march.
