Kamehameha Schools Presents Free Parent Workshop for Kaua’i Families

Tiara Lee of the Kamehameha Schools Health & Wellness Transition Team, Mervlyn Kitashima of the Kamehameha Schools Parents & Alumni Relations office as well as an officer from the Kaua'i Police Department will conduct the workshop. The workshop will discuss the current club drug scene and will provide parents with an insightful look into this growing problem. In addition, parents will learn how to build family assets to help their families handle challenges such as drug addiction. The workshop is sponsored by the following: Kamehameha Schools Parents & Alumni Relations; Kamehameha Schools Association of Kaua'i; Kamehameha Schools Association of Teachers and Parents; Kamehameha Schools Health and Wellness Transition Team; Kamehameha Schools Communications Division; Kamehameha Schools Neighbor Island Regional Resource Center-Kaua'i; and the Native Hawaiian Safe & Drug Free Program at PREL.
