Cooper, Robertson & Partners has executed major architectural and urban design commissions for universities, medical centers, museums and new town developments since its inception in 1979. CR & P has been recognized for its master planning and design, having successfully accomplished several large-scale projects throughout the country, including the Institute for the Arts and Humanities at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, buildings for George Mason University's College of Arts and Science, and a master plan for Johns Hopkins University. CR & P's founding partner is Alexander Cooper, FAIA. "It is important that Kamehameha Schools engage in the master planning of Kaka'ako, and this partnership with the University and Victoria Ward offers all of us an opportunity to make important contributions to the revitalization of our community," commented Kamehameha Schools Chief Investment Officer Wendell Brooks. Brooks expects the first phase of the study to be completed in 30 to 60 days.
