KS Maui Campus -- interview with headmaster Rod Chamberlain, preview of the new academies curriculum, and a student-guided tour of the Pukalani site; 'Aina Ulu -- Kamehameha's newest program that utilizes agriculture and conservation lands for educational and cultural purposes. Program director Neil Hannahs explains the goals and objectives of the program and we visit one of the projects involving students replanting a dry forest at Keauhou Ranch; KS Hawaiian Language -- KS O'ahu students in Hawaiian language and advanced television join KITV's Paula Akana to present the television station's Hawaiian Word of the Day during the morning news. As a sponsor of the weekday spot beginning in January, KS is combining an advertising campaign with real-world education opportunities; KS Warrior Marching Band -- the Band celebrates 25 years hosting its nationally renowned Tournament of Bands, and 25 years under the direction of band instructor John Riggle. Learn how teachers, students and the Band Booster Club make it all work; Bernice Pauahi Bishop -- in preparation for Founder's Day, we visit KS Archivist Janet Zisk and KS Heritage Center Coordinator Babe Jones and enjoy a tour of the Heritage Center that honors Kamehameha's beloved founder.
