Improvement Survey Delayed One Week

April 5, 2002

Contributed by CEO Message

All supervisors will now receive the surveys on Monday, April 15, for administration during the week. I hope you will each take the 30 minutes or so necessary to complete the questionnaire. This tool is just one part of an overall Continuous Improvement effort at Kamehameha that will help us improve our work environment and the processes that strengthen the quality of our services and programs. KS' program for continuous improvement, led by Janis Kane, will include staff input on solutions and improvements. Your participation in the OIS is critical to the successful gathering and assessment of data, especially if you are one of the staff members randomly selected to be part of a panel whose responses will be tracked for change over the next few years. Mahalo for your continued commitment to Kamehameha and the strategic vision. I encourage you to contact Chris Melahn (541-5325), Kathy Tibbett's (541-5321) or others in the Policy Assessment and System Evaluation (PASE) Office if you have any questions or concerns regarding this project. Mahalo, Hamilton McCubbin Chief Executive Officer
