Hurricane Flossie: Kamehameha Hawai’i Closed Wed 8/15

August 14, 2007

Contributed by CEO Message

The decision to close school for a second day is in response to current Civil Defense information related to the impending hurricane.

We will continue to monitor Civil Defense information and will notify parents via radio announcements, television and KSH School Messenger (phone system) in regard to the re-opening of school. This decision will be made by campus leaders based on Civil Defense information on a day-to-day basis.

In closing, we continue to ask that you follow all safety precautions as outlined by Civil Defense.

May Ke Akua continue to protect and provide a safe haven for you and your family.

Sincerely,
Dr. Stan Fortuna, Jr.
Headmaster
