Hurricane Flossie: Kamehameha Hawai’i Closed Tue 8/14

August 13, 2007

Contributed by CEO Message

There will be no scheduled classes and activities to include athletic practices and games. A decision to close school was made by our Kamehameha Hawai'i leaders in response to a hurricane watch. We will plan for the re-opening of school based on Civil Defense's recommendation, which will be on a day-to-day basis.

With this decision, the following forms of communication will be established to provide information to all parents, guardians and community at large: radio announcements, television and KSH School Messenger (phone).

Any announcement will be made through the three forms of communication listed above.

We advise all of our Kamehameha 'ohana to follow all safety precautions as outlined by the Civil defense.

In closing, we ask that all of our Kamehameha 'ohana pray to Ke Akua for protection and safety.

Sincerely,
Dr. Stan Fortuna, Jr.
Headmaster
