Ceded Lands March and Rally this Saturday

January 16, 2009

Contributed by Thomas Yoshida

A group of Hawaiian lawyers and law students known as Kupu'āina - with assistance from 'Ilio'ulaokalani Coalition - are organizing the event as part of a broader effort to find resolution to the ceded lands dispute - in Hawai'i - without further litigation. Kamehameha Schools supports this effort.

The March begins at 10:00 a.m. at Saratoga Road and Kalākaua Avenue and ends at the Kapi'olani Park Bandstand. The Rally will start at the Bandstand once all marchers have arrived. You and your 'ohana are invited to participate. Wear RED!
