"We expect this organizational change to result in increased efficiency and productivity," explained McCubbin. "The salary savings as well as savings from more direct and efficient operations will be redirected to support implementation of the goals in our Strategic Implementation Plan that was recently approved by Trustees."

McCubbin emphasized that he will be looking for strong leadership from the chief executives and the division heads - Dwight Kealoha, Yukio Takemoto, Shevon Garnett and the new HR director - to ensure a smooth transition and continued exemplary performance. The CAO Group was previously headed by Gerald Morihara who resigned as of October 31, 2001.
