An Evening with Amy Ku’uleialoha Stillman

March 6, 2002

Contributed by Kekoa Paulsen

As a world-renowned scholar, Stillman's research on Hawaiian music, hula ku'i and hula 'ala'apapa has created great interest in the Hawaiian music and hula communities. Stillman's presentation will provide a window into her own research results and the meticulous world of Hawaiian Archival research. Stillman is a director of the Asian and Pacific Studies Program and an associate professor of music and American culture at the University of Michigan. Admission is free by reservation only. Call Jamie Fong, HCCP coordinator, at 842-8655 or e-mail to jafong@ksbe.edu to confirm your attendance.
