The Kamehameha Schools Song Contest began in 1921 as a way to build student leadership, cooperation and class spirit. Almost a century later, the students, alumni and people all across Hawaii continue celebrate this history and legacy of this annual event. This year's program will be hosted by Grammy nominated performer Manu Boyd, Hoku Award winner Aaron Sala and Kamehameha Middle School Hawaiian Language teacher Lilinoe Ka'anui – all alumni of Kamehameha Schools.
