Rooted in our identity as ‘ōiwi and the values of our Christian faith, our vision is to create a space where our haumāna are inspired to Ho‘ōla Lāhui - to actively contribute to the vibrancy of the Native Hawaiian community.
More than a vision, this is our kāhea - our rally cry. This call to action compels our entire school ‘ohana to support our haumāna on their journey to become the best versions of themselves; to be an agent of their own success; and to be valuable contributors to our lāhui.
This is our E Ola! Committment.
At Kula Ha‘aha‘a, we focus on the foundational building blocks of the E Ola! Graduate journey. We understand that our young learners are discovering the world around them and their place in it, and it is that awareness that we believe is important to cultivate.
We at Kula Waena are proud to play an important role in the development of our Kamehameha haumāna. Built upon the foundation established at Kula Ha‘aha‘a, our goal during the grade 7 and grade 8 years is to prepare our haumāna for more choice, flexibility, and kuleana as they grow into young adults.
Equipped with the foundation of aloha and sense of exploration built in the earlier years of school, our Kula Ki‘eki‘e experience prioritizes student agency. We encourage our haumāna to actualize their aspirations, and visualize their future as an ‘ōiwi leader.
Our on-campus experiential living and learning community provides our neighbor island haumāna access to an educational program that will challenge their learning, ground them culturally and open up endless possibilities for the future.
We invite you to explore what our haumāna call their home away from home in our 3D virtual tour of our residential facilities.
Our campus traditions have woven a tapestry of unforgettable memories for generations of students and have become culturally iconic staples in the larger Hawai‘i community. Annual events like Ho‘olaule‘a and Song Contest help to showcase our legacy as a Kamehameha ‘ohana.
Home to numerous state championships, we are proud to offer a variety of sports for haumāna of all ages.
Our Kapālama campus offers a variety of unique clubs that welcome participation from all students! From book club to fishing club and everything in between, adventures and new opportunities await.
Malia Rossetti (KSK ’13) is a prime example of how Ke Ali‘i Bernice Pauahi’s legacy inspires our haumāna to build legacies of their own. We are committed to cultivating ‘ōiwi leaders that connect with and serve their communities like Pauahi and like Malia.
