Kamehameha Schools Maui stands firm in its core value of Ku‘upau and is committed to going the distance. Haumāna and kumu are set on personalized learning pathways that unleash their full potential allowing them to revive what it means to be proud and educated Hawaiians in the 21st century. Curriculum and culture are synonymous whether learning occurs in the classroom or on ‘āina. By embracing the fundamental skills of our kūpuna, each haumāna leaves Kamehameha Schools Maui prepared to serve one’s community.
At Māhele Lalo (grades K-5) we aim to build a strong educational foundation for every haumāna, connecting them to the ‘āina (land), and the world around them to help provide a sense of belonging as Hawaiians.
Māhele Luna (grades 6-12) is a dynamic and innovative kula nurturing and cultivating Native Hawaiian haumāna to become servant leaders and successful lifelong learners. Our world class college preparatory curriculum supports college and career readiness.
Our Ka‘ulaheanuiokamoku Athletic Complex includes a variety of amenities such as a gymnasium, a wrestling and judo room, a tennis complex with six courts, the Kana‘iaupuni Stadium for football, soccer and track, aquatic center and more!
Our Maui campus offers 20+ student clubs, and many volunteer programs. All haumāna are welcome! From the National Honor Society, to art and drama club, there is something perfect for everyone.
As a student who entered KS Maui at the beginning of high school, Kaleialoha Kaniaupio-Crozier (KSM '11) experienced firsthand that there are more opportunities and more spaces to grow at our Maui campus. No matter your keiki's talents or interests, we have a place for them here.
