Kamehameha Schools Maui stands firm in its core value of Ku‘upau and is committed to going the distance. Haumāna and kumu are set on personalized learning pathways that unleash their full potential allowing them to revive what it means to be proud and educated Hawaiians in the 21st century. Curriculum and culture are synonymous whether learning occurs in the classroom or on ‘āina. By embracing the fundamental skills of our kūpuna, each haumāna leaves Kamehameha Schools Maui prepared to serve one’s community.

Elementary

At Māhele Lalo (grades K-5) we aim to build a strong educational foundation for every haumāna, connecting them to the ‘āina (land), and the world around them to help provide a sense of belonging as Hawaiians.

Middle / High

Māhele Luna (grades 6-12) is a dynamic and innovative kula nurturing and cultivating Native Hawaiian haumāna to become servant leaders and successful lifelong learners. Our world class college preparatory curriculum supports college and career readiness.


Athletics

Our Ka‘ulaheanuiokamoku Athletic Complex includes a variety of amenities such as a gymnasium, a wrestling and judo room, a tennis complex with six courts, the Kana‘iaupuni Stadium for football, soccer and track, aquatic center and more!

Clubs

Our Maui campus offers 20+ student clubs, and many volunteer programs. All haumāna are welcome! From the National Honor Society, to art and drama club, there is something perfect for everyone.

⚡️💻 GIRLS IN CYBERSECURITY! 💻⚡️KS Maui and Hālau ‘o Kapikohānaiāmālama launched its first, "Girls in Cybersecurity" event, this past Saturday to empower kaikamahina in the tech industry!The free community event welcomed over 20 kaikamahine from schools across Maui County on campus. Haumāna from Grades 4 - 12 had the opportunity to learn from female tech professionals with hands-on activities.Haumāna discovered the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and how smart technologies are shaping our world. They also learned how digital forensics is used to investigate cyber crimes on Unix systems, uncovering hidden data and racing digital footprints. Other activities included understanding the principles of encryption and exploring cryptography with a cipher wheel to encode and decode messages.Mahalo nui to our Educational Technology Services staff, kumu and female professionals for volunteering their time to mentor these exceptional young wāhine!#KSMaui #Kuupau #GirlsinCybersecurity
