New I Mua magazine celebrates Ke Aliʻi Pauahi’s kauoha, ‘āina

May 4, 2026

Our latest edition of I Mua magazine is now available online. Following the release of Strategic Plan 2030, this edition explores how Ke Kula ‘o Kamehameha is continuing to fulfill and protect Ke Aliʻi Pauahi’s chiefly charge for the benefit of her people.

Issue 1, 2026, includes moʻolelo about how our alumni, haumāna, limahana and the wider kaiāulu are taking a stand in defense of Ke Aliʻi Pauahi’s kauoha.

There’s also a compelling story about alumni ‘Ōiwi leaders who helped bring “Chief of War” to life in what has proved to be a ground-breaking achievement in Kanaka Maoli storytelling.

Another moʻolelo takes readers on a journey to picturesque Kahuku Ranch on Moku o Keawe, a sterling example of Kamehameha’s living ʻāina legacy.

You’ll also find highlights of a new study revealing how Hawaiian culture-based education and E Ola! are leading to stronger academic achievement and personal growth. And class news is loaded with alumni achievements and memorable milestones.

If you’re not currently receiving I Mua, ʻaʻole pilikia. Join the direct mail list in time for the next edition, due out in a few months.
