Youth, families, and school communities across Hawai‘i are encouraged to participate in Virtual Volunteer Week Hawai‘i to stay connected with the community and take action through the Aloha+ Challenge.
Virtual Volunteer Week Hawai‘i runs through April 25 to align with National Volunteer Week and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, this volunteer opportunity can help participants develop their own virtual service activities to respond with aloha during this time of need. Youth can be involved meaningfully with their ʻohana, teachers, classmates, clubs and organizations, while following the latest health and safety guidelines. Volunteer impact metrics and stories will be shared to show collective action through the Aloha+ Challenge, Hawai‘i’s local framework established to achieve the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Share this opportunity with others and register at virtualvolunteerweekhawaii.org by April 25 to get involved.
