Kamehameha Schools’ Mālama Ola department announced a shift to a new Electronic Health Records (EHR) system that would be implemented this year. To assist parents in making this change, a guide has been set-up that walks throught the steps one would need to take when visiting the portal.
The change to an EHR system will allow KS clincal staff, such as nurses, athletic trainers and outreach counselors to better document, share and collaborate, ultimately improving the health and safety of our students.
The system we are implementing is being used at more than 200 college sites, including the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
Another important reason behind the change is that the EHR system will improve communication with parents, improving both service and user experience by leveraging technology to become more efficient and high-performing.
Please take a moment to look at the Parent Portal Guide for Medical Clearance.
