Kamaʻāina Sunday at ʻIolani Palace will celebrate Protect Kahoʻolawe ʻOhana: 50 Years of Aloha ʻĀina. This special gathering honors five decades of unwavering commitment to Kahoʻolawe and the enduring spirit of aloha ʻāina that continues to guide our lāhui.
Up to 500 participants can take an audio tour of the palace. The Coronation Pavilion will feature:
A keiki tent with hands-on activities to inspire the next generation: arts workshops by cultural practitioners, Kahoʻolawe films and a panel in the Barracks theater.
Kamehameha Schools’ policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
