ARC 2024 - Mauna ʻAla and Huakaʻi to North Shore

Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 8:00am - 3:00 pm

Location: Mauna ʻAla and North Shore

Start the morning sharing ho‘okupu at Mauna ‘Ala, and then huaka‘i to North Shore to visit the Little Plumeria Farm, Kawailoa Solar and Wind Farms, North Shore Macadamia Nut Company and have lunch at Hale‘iwa Store Lots.

Alumni staying at Mauna ‘Ala will hear about the mo‘olelo of the area by our Ho‘okahua Cultural Vibrancy Team.

Shuttles will leave campus at 8 a.m. and return by 3 p.m. Huaka‘i shuttles will proceed on directly from Mauna ‘Ala. One shuttle will return to campus for those guests not going on huaka‘i.

Alumni not going on huaka‘i may drive themselves, however, parking is limited, and vehicles will not be permitted inside the gate.
