Tickets are still available for Keiki to Kūpuna – an evening of ‘ono food and award-winning entertainment held at the picturesque Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu. The Kamehameha Schools-sponsored family event is slated for Friday, May 19, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The event will also honor three cherished Kaua‘i kūpuna who are alumni of Kamehameha Schools: former State Representative Ezra Kanoho KSK’45, historian Aletha Kaohi KSK’48 and civic leader Thelma Black KSK’48.

The $25 event fee includes heavy pūpū, no-host cocktails, and performances by Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning singer Del Beazley & Friends, and award-winning composer and kumu hula, Manu Boyd. Tickets can be purchased at www.keikitokupuna.eventbrite.com.

“We’re pleased to partner with Koloa Landing Resort to present our first Kauaʻi community event, and to honor our cherished alumni who have given so much to our community,” said KS Kauaʻi Regional Director Coty “Buffy” Ofisa.

“The values of our kūpuna (elders) shape the future of our kamaliʻi (children) and ensure our Hawaiian culture will thrive. It is with that belief that we embrace the community to come and enjoy this special evening,” she added.

Resort General Manager Ike Cockett KSKʻ84 looks forward to hosting the event.

“The values of both Koloa Landing Resort and Kamehameha Schools are interwoven as hospitable stewards of the ʻāina,” said Cockett. “Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu is proud to partner with Kamehameha Schools in honoring alumni and supporting the community.”
