Aloha mai kākou,
Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha continues to track the Kona storm moving through the pae ʻāina.
All Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha campuses, preschool sites and offices will remain open tomorrow, Thursday, March 12, 2026. We will continue to closely monitor conditions and follow the guidance of government emergency officials, with the safety and well-being of our haumāna, ʻohana and staff as our highest priority. If circumstances change, campuses, preschools or office sites will communicate any operational updates directly with their communities.
The National Weather Service continues to forecast the potential for flash flooding, damaging winds and strong thunderstorms as the system moves across the islands.
We will continue sharing daily afternoon updates while conditions remain active. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to stay aware of weather conditions, take the necessary precautions for your ʻohana, and check in on neighbors and members of your community.
E mālama pono.
