Rising eighth grader Cheizyn Montizor has been designated as a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Young Scholars Program semifinalist!

Montizor selected for presitgious Youth Scholarship program

Sending a big hoʻomaikaʻi to Class of 2025 haumāna Cheizyn Montizor who has been designated as a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Young Scholars Program semifinalist. This significant achievement places Cheizyn amongst 2,000 high achieving 7th grade students from around the country.

The Cooke Young Scholars Program is a selective five-year, pre-college scholarship for high-performing 7th grade students. It provides comprehensive academic and college advising, as well as financial support for school, Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships, and other learning enrichment opportunities.

The Montizor ʻohana send their mahalo to all of the kumu who strengthen Cheizyn with guidance and support as she walks her path of being an ʻŌiwi leader.
