‘Help Keep Our Schools Open’ programs re-air this weekend

Kamehameha Schools and its community partners produced two programs as part of the “Help Keep Our Schools Open” campaign that are re-airing on Hawai‘i News Now this weekend. Tune in to the following programs that emphasize the importance of in-person learning and its positive impacts on students and teachers:

  • “Returning to Campus: School in Real Life” – A day in the life of students at several schools, allowing viewers the opportunity to see first-hand how the pandemic altered their in-person learning experience.
     
  • “Evolving Education: Learning through COVID” – Hosted by Mahealani Richardson KSK’91, the town hall recalls lessons learned by haumāna and kumu during COVID-19.

Originally broadcast in December, the programs will be rebroadcast as follows:
