Kamehameha Day festivities on O‘ahu will include a lei draping on June 8 and a parade on June 9. During this year’s parade, KS will be joined by eight Hawaiian-serving organizations in a strong showing of our lāhui’s solidarity.

The parade contingent will be comprised of leaders from each organization to honor Kamehameha ‘ekahi, as we celebrate Ke Au Hawai’i, the Year of the Hawaiian. KS CEO Jack Wong, trustees Micah Kāne and Lance Keawe Wilhelm, and the KS Kapālama cheerleaders will participate in the parade.

Our Kamehameha Day Parade Ke Au Hawai’i contingent will include:

  • Alu Like
  • Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs
  • Bishop Museum
  • Charles Reed Bishop Trust
  • Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement
  • Kamehameha Schools
  • Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association
  • Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce
  • Office of Hawaiian Affairs

Visit the King Kamehameha Day informational website for details on festivities throughout the state.
