Kamehameha Day festivities on O‘ahu will include a lei draping on June 8 and a parade on June 9. During this year’s parade, KS will be joined by eight Hawaiian-serving organizations in a strong showing of our lāhui’s solidarity.
The parade contingent will be comprised of leaders from each organization to honor Kamehameha ‘ekahi, as we celebrate Ke Au Hawai’i, the Year of the Hawaiian. KS CEO Jack Wong, trustees Micah Kāne and Lance Keawe Wilhelm, and the KS Kapālama cheerleaders will participate in the parade.

The lei KS is presenting at the June 8 lei draping ceremony at Ali‘iōlani Hale was fashioned by KS Kawaiaha'o Plaza staffers with materials gathered from Princess Pauahi's ʻāina, including palapalai, palaʻā, and kupukupu.
