The program features three pathways (Nā Meheu)
Different courses fall under each of these trails. Exciting offerings include college tours and dual credit opportunities, along with enrichment and elective courses, as well as a chance to earn and complete required core courses.

All high school courses are full-day sessions, with some courses offered in two week sessions, a special schedule or the standard four-week session.
Hālau Mauli Ola courses are open to current KS students as well as our community students attending DOE, public charter or private institutions. Community students should check with their home schools to make sure credits are transferrable.
Registration will begin on January 2.
KS students should use KS Connect to register, with different windows of registration depending on your grade level. Current juniors (grade 11) can register on Jan. 2. Sophomores (grade 10) will begin registration on Jan. 7. Freshmen (grade 9) registration starts Jan. 14 and current 8th grade students can register for their summer courses on Jan. 21.
Community students should submit an application on ksbe.edu/admissions with their preferred courses selected. See all required steps for applying for summer courses on that site.
