It was a tale of two halves.
And the second one sounded much better for the Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi Boys Soccer team. After an 0-0 tie at halftime, adjustments were made and our Warriors caught a wave of momentum on their way to a dominant 4-0 victory over Makua Lani in securing back-to-back BIIF DII titles and the top seed in next week’s State Tournament.
Read a recap of the game and the reaction afterwards in the Hawaii Tribune-Herald.
The game was broadcast live courtesy of Nā Leo TV and can be watched on-demand via their Facebook live stream recap or should be up on their video on-demand service shortly.
They’ll be looking to defend that state title as well when they open up against Waialua on Thursday, February 7 at the Waipio Soccer Complex on Oʻahu.
Hoʻomaikaʻi to the boys soccer team and I Mua Kamehameha!
