Advent 2025: Joy in praise and practice

Dec. 17, 2025

Joy and strength come together in this week’s Advent message from Kamehameha Schools Maui. Drawing from the hymn “Nou Ka Nani” and scripture from Nehemiah, Kahu Kanani Franco KSK’91, along with kahu ʻōpio Kamakana Ishiki and Zion Ebana, remind us that true joy is rooted in Ke Akua, not in perfect moments or material things. As we move closer to Christmas, this video devotional invites us to practice joy through praise, generosity and aloha for one another and ʻāina.
