Hoʻomaikaʻi to our KSH 4-H Club who won the State Conservation Contest last Thursday, December 5, on Kauaʻi! Please join us in congratulating seniors Peyton Botelho and Jerzi Chaves, sophomores Satomi Loo and Edwinna AhYee, and advisor Kumu Lorinda Forster!
Individually, the girls also earned 1st place (Peyton Botelho), 2nd place (Edwinna AhYee), 3rd place (Jerzi Chaves) as well!
"The team worked hard attending study sessions, reviewing the night before and in the car on the way to the contest!" shared Forster. "So proud of them and their hard work, persistence and sheer cleverness."
They also earned a place to compete once again at the National Land and Range Judging Contest in Oklahoma next May.
The team celebrates their win.
This year's contest took place on Kauaʻi on December 5.
The 4-H Club will travel to Oklahoma in May to participate in the National Land Judging Contest.
