Kamehameha Schools was founded by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great-granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great.
With nearly 181,000 acres under its stewardship, agricultural lands make up 47% of Kamehameha Schools ‘āina. In fiscal year 2019-20, KS spent $9.4 million to steward agricultural and conservation lands, as well as vital natural resources.
