About me

I received my BEd in Elementary Education & Professional Diploma from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and a Master of Education from Chaminade University. I also earned my National Board Certification in 2014. I began my teaching career in Honolulu at Royal Elem School where I taught Kindergarten for one year and grade 1 the next year. I moved to Likelike Elem School in Kalihi where I taught grade 4 for one year, grade 5 for two years, grade 1 for two years, grade 2 for one year, and Kindergarten for three years. I returned to Maui in 1997 and taught grade 2 at Kihei Elem. School for five years. I have been teaching third grade at Kamehameha Schools Maui since 2001.
