About me

Aloha! I have recently joined the Kamehameha ʻOhana as a K-12 Outreach Counselor. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and am also currently working on my Substance Abuse Counselor Certification. After graduating high school at Kapālama in 2004, I moved to California where I obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Chapman University and then M.A. in Clinical Psychology-Marriage & Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Throughout my time in California I worked for various organizations and county programs, mainly working with children and adolescents who had experienced significant trauma as well as incarcerated youth. I decided to move back home to Maui, where I accepted a position at a local non-profit working with at-risk adolescents and was there for 4 years until recently, when I accepted the K-12 Outreach Counselor position here at KS Maui.
