About me

My name is Mrs. Lesley Ann Pico-Lilio and I am the Grade 10 U.S. History teacher here at Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus. I am currently in my 18th year of teaching with the past 13 years here at Kamehameha Schools Maui. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Hawaiian Studies from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, my 7-12 Teaching Certification in Social Studies from Chaminade University of Honolulu and my Masters in Education from Chaminade University in Honolulu. I also received my National Board Certification Social Studies History Adolescence Young Adult and I am a Candidate Support Provider for National Board Candidates. I was born in Wailuku and raised in Pukalani. I currently reside in Kahului with my two children Kobe, who is 13 years old and attends Carden Academy of Maui, and Kaydence, who is 11 years old and attends Kamehameha Schools Maui. When not in school, my time outside is spent shuffling my children to their various extra curricular activities as well as working out with my children. When Iʻm not shuffling my children around, I love to read, shop and travel.
