About me

I received my BEd in Elementary Education and MEd Counseling and Guidance from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. I also earned my National Board Certification in 2012. I began my teaching career on Oahu at Lincoln and Kaimiloa Elementary. I moved to Maui in 1996 and was the counselor at Lihikai Elementary for 9 years. I have been Kamehameha Schools Maui Elementary School Counselor for the past 11 years and I am grateful to Pauahi for giving me the opportunity to serve our Native Hawaiian keiki. I live in Waikapu with my beautiful wife and 3 daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and enjoy ocean activities such as surfing, fishing and going on adventures.
