About me

Welina mai! I am fortunate to come from Ka`elekū, Hāna and be an alumni of the Kamehameha Schools Maui. From this foundation, I graduated from the University of Hawai`i at Hilo with a double-major in Psychology and Communication. I then attended graduate school and completed a Master’s of Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My professional experience has allowed me to contribute to student success throughout Hawai`i. I served as the Program Support Specialist for the award-winning STEM Program at Kapi`olani Community College, transitioned to KCC’s Title III Program and supported students in gaining internship experience as the Native Hawaiian Career Explorations Facilitator, and revived and secured federal funding for the University of Hawai`i Maui College Kū`ina Program. As I bring my experience to KS Maui, it is with great enthusiasm to carry out my kuleana as the Student Records Coordinator to the best of my ability. On days outside of the school setting, I love to paddle. It is truly my enjoyment connecting my past, present, and future in one moment. I honor everything Hawai`i. Imua Kamehameha!
