About me

Aloha, my name is Chad Kalehuawehe. I am the physical education teacher for all sophomores at Kamehameha Schools Maui. I have been teaching P.E. here at KS-Maui for the past 10 years but Iʻve been a teacher for 18 years. I really enjoy coaching youth basketball and I love to SUP (Stand Up Paddle) surf. I was born and raised here on Maui and I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my degree in Physical Education. Iʻm married to Irma Kalehuawehe and we have one daughter (Leah) and one son (Noah). One of my favorite quotes from the bible is: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path” Proverbs 3:5,6
