Students reflect on arriving in Tahiti

April 25, 2017

KS Kapālama junior Teeya Lei reflects on the journey to Tahiti she and 14 of her classmates made. Lei is a part of ʻAnatahuʻataʻatametuatetupumāvae, a youth delegation who will represent Hawaiʻi on this stop along the Worldwide Voyage. They will take part in a number of cultural-educational exchanges and participate in ceremonies to welcome Hōkūleʻa back to Tahiti. You can watch other daily reflections as they are posted and read research students have completed prior to their journey at http://raiatea2017.weebly.com/.
