Pink for Pauahi

October 30, 2019

In October, we wear pink for Pauahi. Our Kamehameha Schools ʻohana throughout the pae ʻāina honored Ke Ali‘i Pauahi and her courageous battle with breast cancer. This year our haumāna started a new tradition that united the three KS campuses. On Friday, October 18, all three campuses participated in the student-planned “Walk for Pauahi.” Even though we were physically islands away from one another, our hearts and steps were in rhythm.
