Kamehameha Schools recently received the Kalihi Beautification Award for creating a culturally inspired mural for the Wismettac Asian Foods building on Nimitz Highway and Waiakamilo Road. Part of cultivating a strong Native Hawaiian identity for Kamehameha Schools includes embracing culture in the stewardship of its real estate assets. This project is among many that pay homage to the Hawaiian culture through meaningful design.
