In this video from Mālama Maunalua, KSK middle school kumu Collette Leimomi Akana talks about the importance of place-based learning and having her students learn through hands-on experiences. Her class participated in Mālama Maunalua's Feb. 2018 Educational Huki. Students removed over half a ton of invasive limu from the bay.
