Haumāna from Kamehameha Schools Maui Hawaiian ensemble spent part of their Pōʻaono sharing mele at the Maui War Memorial Sports Complex in Wailuku, which serves as a shelter and donation hub for the numerous families displaced by the wildfires.
Kamehameha Schools’ policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
