Kamehameha Schools Hawai‘i Hō‘ike featured Hawaiian language operas in 2013 and 2014. See highlights from both of those productions which captured and shared the stories of Keaomelemele (2013) and the Battle of Kuamo‘o (2014). Students and staff are currently planning for their third opera which will debut at the school's Hō‘ike in March 2016, and then travel to Scotland in August of 2016 to be staged at the American High School Theater Festival as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
