July 27, 2017

Keala‘ula is a Kamehameha Schools personalized, professional development program for campus educators designed to innovate and move the KS tri-campus system closer to the world-class Hawaiian Culture-Based Education system it aspires to be.Each year, the program solicits a cohort of kumu to work in a research and development capacity to inspire and inform the efforts needed to move closer to the goals set out through the E Ola learner outcomes and Tri-Campus Tactical Plan, all of which aligns with the organizations Kūhanauna SP2020 goals and larger Vision 2040 KS set out to achieve. The vision for Keala‘ula is to be a transformational change agent developing a network of kumu dedicated to spreading educational innovation. For more information on the Keala‘ula Innovations Institute, visit http://www.kealaulainstitute.weebly.com.
