Allyson Franco, a post-baccalaureate student from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, offered the student reflection for the month of April. Franco shares her time as a student at Mānoa, noting pivotal moments in which she realized she wanted to be an advocate for Native Hawaiians. One of the ways Franco continues to be a voice for the Native Hawaiian community is through her work with the Ea Curriculum, which aims to inspire the community to identify and raise up voices for the ea (life) of the ʻāina (land).
