Hawaiʻi’s annual Wildfire LOOKOUT! campaign is underway, urging residents to prepare as we head into the hot summer months. On this HI Now Daily segment, Kamehameha Schools’ Senior Project Manager for Wildfire and Risk Jason Scanlan joins Hawaiʻi Wildfire Management Organization’s Co-Executive Director Nani Barretto to discuss how recent rains may affect wildfire risk and share simple steps to help protect homes, ʻohana and communities.
Kamehameha Schools’ policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
