“He Moku He Wa‘a, He Wa‘a He Moku” – Our Canoe is an Island, Our Island is a Canoe – is among three videos focused on Hawaiian culture-based education added to the Hawaiian Airlines in-flight entertainment lineup. The video narratives were produced by Kanaeokana, a network of over 50 Hawaiʻi schools and organizations, including Kamehameha Schools campuses and preschools statewide. This wikiō (video) will give travelers a glimpse at KS Maui students greeting the voyaging canoe Hōkūleʻa at Honolua Bay. View the other video moʻolelo (stories) and more, at kanaeokana.net.
