The Stanford Woods' Institute for the Environment produced this special video highlighting the work that takes place at the First Nations' Futures Institute each fall over the past 10 years. The institute is a key academic component of Kamehameha Schools' First Nations' Futures Program. The Stanford-based experience is a two-week program that prepares young indigenous leaders from Hawai‘i, Aotearoa and Alaska to tackle social, economic, environmental and cultural challenges in their communities.
